Dr. Bhanu Nalla MD, FRCPC| Anaesthesia & Critical Care Medicine​

Profile: Dr. Nalla undertook his postgraduate training in London, UK in Internal Medicine and subsequently Anesthesia with a sub-specialty fellowship in Critical Care Medicine. He worked briefly as a staff Anesthetist in London before undertaking a fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia and transesophageal echocardiography at St Michael's Hospital, Toronto. He has been a staff Intensivist and Anesthetist at Health Sciences North since 2010. He holds an Assistant Professor position at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. He is the lead hospital physician for Organ Donation for Trillium Gift of Life and is transitioning into the role of Medical Director for Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
His interests include simulation-based education, ultrasound techniques in Critical Care and the use ECMO for severe acute respiratory conditions.
