Dr. Bhanu Nalla | Anaesthesia & Critical Care Medicine

 

Medical School: King's College, University of London, UK

 

Dr Nalla was born in India and subsequently resided in the UK.  Following his graduation from medical school, he underwent specialized training in Internal Medicine before switching to Anesthesia with a Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the University of London.  In 2010 he completed a one year Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia and Transesophageal Echocardiography at St Michael's Hospital, Toronto before joining as Staff in Critical Care & Anesthesia at Health Sciences North.  He has been appointed Assistant Professor at Northern Ontario School of Medicine, Hospital Donation Physician for Trillium Gift of Life and is transitioning to become Medical Director for the Advanced Cardiac Life Support program at HSN.  Interests include Extracorporeal Life Support (ECLS), Critical Care Ultrasound and Medical Education including simulation-based training.
